Project Three - Engine Abradable Repair

Our Client was unhappy about engine performance attributed to a problem with one of their repair station. Aero 1 was able to identify the repair station was outsourcing the repair to a third party that neither had the proper methods or repair materials available.

We secured the proper alternate materials and developed a repair procedure for the abradable. Working with our client’s preferred repair station, we developed the methods and tooling required for the repair and were able to demonstrate the right material strength and bonding after repair.
